L-O-V-E

It is 5 am in the morning and I still can't seem to sleep. The eagerness and enthusiasm to blog has taken control of my body. Maybe it is because this is only my second time posting an entry. I feel like a little kid who just had a new toy. I wanna play with my toy. I wanna blog blog blog (haha damn i sound freaking childish...).

An interesting issue in my life lately is regarding girlfriend-boyfriend relationship. Some of my close buddies have problems in their relationships and some even have troubles getting into one (wink). For me, there's more to a gf-bf relationship than just loving, understanding and caring for each other. There are 5 important things that I have learned in having a good relationship with our lovers.

1. We should always think of the consequences of our actions. We ought to avoid doing things or saying stuffs to our lovers that could hurt their feelings.

2. We must learn to make sacrifices for our lovers. Although it is extremely difficult to do so, we should sometimes sacrifice the things we love just to make them happy. In truth, sacrificing is one thing i dread the most.

3. We must make the effort to spend time with our lovers. I know that lately with my growing enthusiasm in keeping in touch with my new/old friends, sports and Christian events, I had to cut short my time with my gf and that totally sucks... But I'm still trying to juggle my time for her =)

4. We must be able to communicate well wih our lovers. Instead of thinking of how to take revenge or showing our disappointment or being piss with our lovers when they make us angry, we should tell them nicely how we feel. This could avoid unnecessary and frustrating fights with them.

5. We should learn to forgive each other (Unless they cheat or abuse us-lah).

And while I am on this topic, I would like to advice a specific friend of mine. It is not easy to find true love. But if you don't try and open your heart, you will never find it or even worse than that.... miss it... Rejection is part of life and we don't cry over spilled milk. Instead, we clean up the milk and pour ourselves another glass (wink).
